Job Summary: This person’s primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of various rack mount server systems, components, and equipment used in defense and aerospace applications.

Job Summary: This person’s primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of various rack mount server systems, components, and equipment used in defense and aerospace applications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers, to understand the requirements and specifications of defense and aerospace systems.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate system performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Identify and prioritize critical test cases and define test objectives and success criteria.
- Design and develop test procedures, protocols, and scripts to execute functional, integration, performance, and stress testing of defense and aerospace systems. Set up and configure test environments, equipment, and instrumentation required for accurate data collection and analysis.
- Execute tests, record and analyze test results, and document any issues or anomalies encountered during testing.
- Identify and troubleshoot system defects or failures, working closely with the design and development teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Create detailed test reports, including test procedures, results, and recommendations for improvements or modifications to the systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Solid understanding of test methodologies, test development, and test execution. Experience with test equipment, tools, and software commonly used in defense and aerospace testing (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, environmental chambers)
- Knowledge of defense and aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g., MIL-STD, DO-178C, DO-254, AS9100)
- Proficiency in programming languages (such as Python, C/C++) and experience with test automation frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
