Torin Dragsbaek

Torin was one of the original founders of JVT Advisors in 1997. He is currently responsible for leading the strategy and execution for all aspects of the organization, including business development, recruiting, and operations.
With almost 30 years of experience in technology staffing, Torin is still passionate about recruiting. As the president of JVT, Torin often gets pulled in many directions, but he still loves being on the phone, fostering relationships, and finding and delivering the best talent for his customers.
Admittedly “a little old-school,” Torin believes in the simple principles of good business: hard work, honesty, fairness and integrity. He is invested in his people, leads by example, and never asks anyone that works for him to do anything he’s not willing to do himself.
He also promotes enthusiasm throughout the organization. He enjoys leading others and teaching them about what makes this business rewarding and fun, while driving teams to deliver quality and build long-term relationships.

Happy place:I’m happiest either sitting on the front porch of my cottage in York Beach, Maine, or when I can watch one of my four kids perform or play sports.
Favorite activities:When I’m not recruiting, I still enjoy playing hockey and soccer in my local men’s league or coaching my sons’ sports teams.
